He is responsible for executing the strategic vision for the company and delivering a highly engaging and personalized fashion experience to customers. Prior to assuming this role, he was Vice President, Consumer Shopping Experience at Flipkart where he worked on making shopping accessible, delightful and affordable on every connected device. With an experience of over 15 years in technology, Amar has donned multiple hats and is known for his penchant for solving complex problems and thinking out of the box. He has worked with Flipkart for over six years and has led multiple teams, ranging from Mobile and Web Engineering to Product, Design, Engineering, and operations for the CSE group at Flipkart. Amar began his career at ‘Lexmark International Inc’ and later went onto building Internet’s first surety application as an Application Architect at ‘CNA Surety’, followed by his role as Staff Engineer at ‘Walmart Labs’, where he worked with the technology leadership on the development of a next-generation platform for e-Commerce and helped the company set up its India Centre.
